You will be fully supported in the role. It will help you show that you have a wide range of skills and training.
The Learning Disability Partnership Group includes the Cardiff and Vale local councils, health, voluntary organisations and people with learning disabilities and their carers.
It provides a place to update each other on services as well as being a voice for citizens to help shape services for people with learning disabilities.
Your role as a chairperson will be to make sure people have their voice heard and that information is shared with the Learning Disability Partnership Board.
