We know our workforce is our biggest asset. Without them we wouldn’t be able to deliver the support that people have told us they need in our Population Needs Assessment which will help them live the lives they choose in their homes and communities for as long as possible.
Our partners, particularly in health and social care, have told us about the very real challenges they face in recruiting suitably qualified staff. This year we are investing in a publicity campaign to encourage people to apply for roles that help people return home after a hospital stay, support recovery and help people stay well. These include:
- Nurses
- Health Care Assistants
- Dietitians
- Carers
- Speech and Language Therapists
- Occupational Therapists
This campaign will create a series of shared resources that we will use to encourage people to apply for community roles in Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, Cardiff Council and Vale of Glamorgan Council.
