Warm Spaces grant and Improving Access to Food grant

Our partners at Glamorgan Voluntary Services are highlighting The Improving Access to Food grant. The grant aims to help communities tackle food insecurity by supporting projects that improve access to healthy, nutritious food. These projects can include establishing community larders, social supermarkets, or food banks/pantries, as well as providing food education and cooking skills. Funding may also be available for community gardens, allotments, and initiatives that address social isolation through shared meals.

Warm Spaces grants are funding opportunities designed to support organisations in providing free, warm, and welcoming community spaces, particularly during the colder months and in response to the cost of living crisis. These grants help groups offer a safe place for people to gather, socialise, and access support services, reducing social isolation and addressing community concerns.
