Opportunity to Represent Unpaid Carers on the Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board

Do you provide unpaid care or support to a loved one, friend, or neighbour?
Would you like to help shape the way health and social care services are planned and delivered across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan?

The Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board (RPB) is seeking a new Unpaid Carers Representative to join the Board and ensure the voices and experiences of unpaid carers are heard at the highest level of regional decision-making.

The RPB brings together partners from Health, Local Authorities, and the Third Sector to plan and deliver integrated care and support across the region. As a representative, you will help influence priorities, highlight the real issues carers face, and ensure services are designed and delivered in ways that truly meet people’s needs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has lived experience as an unpaid carer.
  • Is passionate about improving support for carers and others in the community.
  • Can share their own experience while also reflecting the views of other carers.
  • Is able to attend quarterly RPB meetings (with support and expenses provided).

The chosen representative will also be eligible for remuneration via the Reward and Recognition Scheme as part of their contribution to regional partnership working as well as having expenses covered by the RPB.

If you are passionate about making a difference for unpaid carers across Cardiff and the Vale, we’d love to hear from you.
