Help for third sector organisations
Funding Wales
Funding Wales is a funding search platform created by Third Sector Support Wales where you can find funding for your charity, community group or social enterprise using a free online search engine.
Their database contains grant and loan finance opportunities from local, national and international sources.
Local support
The list of available grants is always changing so we recommend getting in touch with Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC) and Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) who can offer advice and support to third sector and community groups who support people in their area.
Cardiff
C3SC Third Sector Development Officers can support organisations with funding searches, assist with funding applications, fundraising strategies and any other advice or guidance.
They have also produced a useful briefing on grants and funding that are available.
Vale of Glamorgan
GVS’ Funding Information and Support Service is open to all GVS members and potential members, voluntary and community organisations based in, or serving, the Vale of Glamorgan. Its purpose is to provide funding information, advice and assistance tailored to the specific needs of your group.
Our Priorities
DECHRAU’N DDA
STARTING WELL
We want every child in Cardiff and Vale to have the opportunity to thrive. Our work focuses on children in vulnerable situations and the services that support them.

AGEING WELL
We know how hard it can be to find help when people need it the most. We want to make sure there is community support to help people stay as healthy as possible so they can carry on doing the things that matter most to them.

LIVING WELL
As a Partnership we have worked together with people with a learning disability, their families, carers and the third and independent sector to produce a clear direction for the planning and delivery of adult learning disability services across the region over the next five years.
