Sam Austin, Chair of Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board and Joint Chief Executive, Llamau

Sam Austin is the Chair of Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board and the Joint Chief Executive of Llamau, Wales’ leading homelessness charity, where she has dedicated her career to supporting young people and women facing homelessness and complex challenges and until recently was Chair of Cymorth Cymru. With a strong background in operational leadership and strategic development, Sam has been instrumental in driving trauma-informed, person-centred services that empower individuals to rebuild their lives.
In her role as Chair of the Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board, Sam champions integrated approaches across health, housing, and social care, ensuring that the voices of the third sector and those with lived experience are central to regional planning and delivery. She also serves as Chair of Cymorth Cymru, the umbrella body for providers of homelessness and housing-related support services in Wales.At the conference, Sam will share insights on the power of partnership working to address systemic inequality and deliver meaningful change for vulnerable communities.
