The Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board was delighted to see such a successful and well-attended event taking place in the Vale of Glamorgan, focused on recognising and supporting unpaid carers.

Events like this are vital in raising awareness, helping individuals to access the information and support they need, and importantly, enabling people to recognise themselves as unpaid carers—many for the first time. It’s through these meaningful conversations that we can begin to break down barriers and connect people with the services and advice that can make a real difference in their lives.
CF61 provided a welcoming and accessible venue, and to the Vale of Glamorgan Carers Team for their continued dedication to this work. It’s fantastic to see so many partners involved, including TuVida, Cardiff & the Vale Parents’ Federation, Adferiad, Dewis Cymru, New Law Solicitors, Citizens Advice, and Warm Wales. Your collaboration and commitment to supporting unpaid carers in our region is exactly the kind of joined-up working we strive to promote through the RPB. Together, we can continue to build a more inclusive, supportive system for carers across Cardiff and the Vale.
