Breakout Sessions
As part of the conference programme, delegates are invited to attend one of seven themed workshops, each showcasing a specific service or area of work funded through the Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board (RPB).
These workshops provide an opportunity to explore innovative practice, hear directly from service providers and people with lived experience, and engage in meaningful conversations about how services can continue to evolve to meet the needs of our communities.
Each session will highlight the impact of partnership working across sectors and settings, demonstrate how RPB investment is delivering tangible outcomes, and open the floor for discussion around future priorities and areas for development.
Workshops will run concurrently, and spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis on the day. Delegates are encouraged to choose the workshop most relevant to their role, interest, or area of work. Details of each workshop, including facilitators and focus areas, are provided in the following pages. Scroll the cards for full details.

The Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board Awards
Recognising Excellence in Partnership Working
As part of this year’s conference, we’re proud to celebrate the outstanding individuals and teams who go above and beyond to support people and communities across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
The Cardiff and Vale RPB Conference Awards will shine a spotlight on the dedication, creativity, and compassion shown by those working across health, social care, the third sector, housing, and community services. Whether it’s a frontline worker making a difference every day, or a partnership project that’s transforming lives—this is your chance to say thank you.
You can nominate an individual or a team for an award in one (or more) of six categories, each designed to reflect the values and impact of partnership working across our region.
Award winners will be recognised during a special celebration segment of the conference—an opportunity to showcase their achievements in front of colleagues, leaders, and partners, and to highlight the difference they’re making.
The awards nomination categories are highlighted below!!
